Our recently completed project set the standard for our group projects that brings Italian luxury to your home.
We recently completed a project that is set in the heart of Welgedacht Estate. The estate is situated on the northern slopes of the Tygerberg Hills, neighbouring Kanonberg Estate and Tygerberg Nature Reserve. The beautifully landscaped neighbourhood is perfect for families looking for high-end homes that are secure and centrally located.
The brief for this project was to create a space for the family to come together. The homeowner recognised that her family were no longer using the media and bar area and came to us to design a newly improved bar to elevate the existing room with our Febal Sand bar.
The final design features a neutral colour scheme through the use of Grigio Seta matt lacquer for the joinery accompanied by a white veined stone from Caeserstone called White Attica. To add extra warmth to the neutral palette, we added aspects of rustic oak timber that speaks to the design of the rest of the home.
One of our main aims in every project that we do is to add some flair through our products and designs. We were able to do this with the inclusion of tall Stopsol glass units and a floating glass shelf that have been strategically illuminated. Additionally, we incorporated an oversized timber bar table with a magnificent marble inlay.

Craft Furniture, another fellow company that is part of The Excellence Group, collaborated with us on this brief. They took the lead on creating the oversized bar table and were able to manage the installation and sourcing of the other materials related to the bar table such as the steel leg and marble inlay.
After a lot of time spent on perfecting the design, we were able to utilise our in-house resources to deliver a perfectly renovated bar area. The homeowner is very happy with the finished space and assures us that her family love spending time in this room and even opt to have dinner here instead of at the dining table or kitchen. It is wonderful to know that this room has become a gathering place that brings family and friends together.
