2021 has seen many changes for Eurocasa. After decades of the business being in Cape Town, we thought it imperative to maintain our Italian flair! This year we focused on uplifting the brand to align with our business goals and objectives. Here are a few ways that Eurocasa has changed during the last year and what we are looking forward to in the coming future.
We started the year off with an almost entirely new team at Eurocasa. Not only did we hire two new designers but we also had a change in management as Tamara Karsten moved from Spotlight Joinery to step in as Managing Director of Eurocasa. This has brought new life and a fresh perspective to the brand which is essential for the evolving market and staying ahead of trends.
We looked at the existing positioning of Eurocasa in the market and made strategic decisions in order to further align the brand with our competitive advantages. With a new marketing team working for The Excellence Group, it allowed us the opportunity to reimagine how we want Eurocasa to be portrayed. After many meetings and design ideas, we came to the conclusion of keeping the Eurocasa branding minimalistic with clean thin lines and a more delicate font. Our new logo aligns with our products which offer craftsmanship, astute attention to detail and Italian sophistication. It represents the timeless aesthetic of our Italian kitchens and wardrobes.
The new branding has been a great step in the right direction for us and how we are aiming to grow the business. This new aesthetic and creative direction is what inspired our new showroom look and feel. Our showroom is an exciting step for us to move closer to the growing design hub of Cape Town in De Waterkant. We saw a fantastic opportunity to move next to our fellow TEG company, Valcucine, at 117 Strand Street and down the road from Wunders who are situated on Napier Street.
With a new team and refined branding, we were able to create a sophisticated and exciting vision for the new showroom. We felt that it was important for our new space to be an expression of the way we aim to position the brand in the current market. If you’ve ever designed and installed a kitchen in your home, you’ll know how stressful it can be, now imagine installing six of them and wardrobes! While we have taken some of our favourite kitchens with us, we have also said goodbye to a few to make space for new compositions that have been imported from Italy.
Our new showroom has been an incredible team effort as we’ve included pieces from Craft Furniture, Wunders and Infin8 Surfacing to make our space feel complete. It’s wonderful to work with our fellow companies to create a beautiful and exciting space. With our sister company Valcucine as our new neighbours, it is such an honour to showcase our fellow TEG companies through our showrooms.
We welcome you to visit our showroom in the New Year to experience the refreshed Eurocasa business.
