House Bolus

This luxurious apartment is situated in the vibrant suburb of Green Point. The main road going through Green Point is an experience in itself with trendy restaurants, authentic delis and lively bars. Furthermore, it is within easy reach of the promenade, Green Point park, V&A Waterfront and Signal Hill – some of our city’s most famous landmarks and activities.

This hotspot location is perfect for a contemporary yet spirited design to complement its surroundings. The kitchen island was our HT50 due to its simple, refined and minimalist aesthetic. What really sets this island apart is the zero-thickness countertop. This element is achieved by joining the door panel to the countertop at 40° and 50° respectively. The island becomes a purist monolithic block; a defining character of contemporary style.

For the back run, we used the HD23. This model is characterised by the doors: base units with large-capacity low-plinth volumes and a vast amount of special components. This allowed us to customise the kitchen to the client’s specifications. 

The green marble is without a doubt the hero of the show in this kitchen. Onyx Green is a crystalline natural stone. In its background, intense golden and ocher veins are intertwined, wrapped in very pure nebular structures, full of movement and foliage. 

The kitchen is the heart of the home and this kitchen rang true to this. It is a space where family and friends congregate to enjoy delicious food, celebrations or late-night catch-ups. This space fills its practical requirements while being a true example of Eurocasa’s philosophy – Alive with Flair!
